Almost Home, a new type of facility for families of children
with complex medical problems... children who require hospital
care for extended periods of time.
These children suffer from cancer, severe head
injuries, burns, complications of premature birth, and a variety
of other serious medical problems. They have long, tough, often
frightening fights with illness and disability.
Almost Home provides a setting where families
can be
ever-present as partners in the care and recovery of
their children.
Almost Home is a charitable organization.
It is not part of any hospital, nor does it receive ongoing
government or United Way funding.
